1. Is it possible to compensate the field rotation with an automatic guiding system? No, the field rotation can only be minimized with the correct position of the hour axis . Any kind of a guiding system can only synchronize one point with the motion of the apparent celestial sphere. 2. Is it possible to correct the dispersion? Yes, the dispersion can be virtually eliminated with the help of the Risley prisms.
